Sharing patient data for research – new rules from 1st July 2021

NHS England will begin to collect anonymised patient data from the records of everyone registered with a GP from 1st July 2021. This will create a powerful resource for research, helping us understand more about disease, develop cures and identiy and address health inequalities.
